COAA is devoted to enjoying, preserving, and sharing knowledge of all outdoor mechanical musical instruments; including band, fair, and street organs, calliopes, and hand-cranked organs of all sizes.

COAA Membership

The COAA stands for Carousel Organ Association of America, but some folks say it also stands for "come out and associate, America!" And what fun it is to associate with folks that love to talk about and operate the organs that play "The Happiest Music On Earth." Our association is devoted to enjoying, preserving and sharing knowledge about all outdoor mechanical musical instruments. Also, you don't need to own an instrument to join in on all the fun and be a member of the COAA. If you cannot join us during any of the summer band organ rallies, then we will bring the fun to your home with four picture packed quarterly issues of the Carousel Organ Journal and even a special band organ rally edition. From cover to cover in each issue you can read about and see all those wonderful band, fair and street organs, calliopes and hand-cranked organs of all sizes.
